Erick Morillo

There is very little, in the world of entertainment, that the talented Erick Morillo has not turned his hand to. He is a platinum selling artist and has topped the charts worldwide as the producer behind Reel 2 Reel’s hit “I Like To Move It”. Gabry Fasano

Gabry Fasano's career starts with the expansion of house music in europe in 1988. The same year, after his first summer spent in Ibiza, he starts playing in the underground circuit in private villa parties around Florence, leading the development of the electronic music scene in the following years. Since 1990, as a pioneer he leads the way playing in the first house clubs in Italy, such as Kamakama, Insomnia and Jaiss bringing them to the top of the disco scene in Italy for more than ten years. In the year 2000 he becomes also resident in Cocorico' in Riccione, and in 2002 he joins Mauro Picotto's family, Meganite, playing alongside international stars in several Meganite parties in many countries including Switzerland, Scotland, England, Ireland, USA, and Colombia. John Course

Unquestionably one of Australia’s leading DJs, John Course’s reputation for releasing quality mix CDs that are purchased by the bucket load well and truly precedes him. Kaz James

Kaz James is a new-wave enfant terriblé; a dance floor rebel who helped define a generation with the certified international anthem ‘I Like The Way You Move’. As one half of the of BodyRockers duo, Kaz James released an addictive slice of dance/rock fusion that three years later continues to be recognised as a soundtrack for the sneering and stylish youth of today. Leo Mas

Born in 1958 in Sassari (Italy) he is one of the most important DJs in the Italian scene. He started DJing in the last years of the 80's in Ibiza (Spain).
During the first years of the 90's he founded Big Brother Production with Fabrice and Gemolotto. They were known as "La Magica Triade" (The Magic Triad). They also ran the labels Muzak, Pin Up, Models Inc. and Spock.

Mauro Picotto is the first Italian DJ ever to create a successful event known across the globe. He has been the first and only Italian featured amongst the world’s top ten DJs. Paolo Martini

Paolo Martini started his twenty years career during the 80’s, playing in different famous clubs in Veneto, like La Scala (PD), l’Area City (VE) e L’Arena (UD), promoting the new verb of house music.
In a few years his fame reached national levels, Diesel wanted him as testimonial and Match Music nominates him as the host of the program “The Sound Of The Underground”, where with weekly hit parades and special participations, the new type of music started to spread.
At the same time Paolo starts to experiment as a producer, at first alone,then with his partner Gianni Bini: the duo, after a few years of apprenticeship became a real symbol of house Made In Italy.
The duo Bini & Martini produced hits like “Dancing With You”, ”Happiness”, “Burning up”, “Say Yes”, “Stop” and accepted personal requests from Joey Negro, Mousse T, John Digweed and Dave Piccioni to take care of their music.
Contemporaneously to the origin of their own label Ocean Trax – probably the most esteemed Italian label at international level – Bini & Martini started to create new projects like House Of Glass, Goodfellas (with Bologna’s Pasta Boys) and Eclipse, all arriving in charts around the world and still being printed.

Sneaky Sound System

One of the most popular bands in Australia right now is Sneaky Sound System. Their single ‘I Love It’ had the longest chart run in Oz history, their debut album has gone twice platinum and at one point they had four singles in the Top 40. They played the Antipodean Live Earth concert, supported Robbie Williams and won 2 ARIA Awards. Yet Sneaky are not a hard-touring rock band or a manufactured pop act. They’re certainly pop and proud of it, but their background lies in their country’s exploding dance scene.
Sneaky Sound System are Sydney trio Miss Connie (Connie Mitchell), Black Angus (Angus McDonald), and MC Double D (Daimon Downey), three very different characters bonded by a riotous sense of fun. Their origins lie in the hugely successful club night Sneaky Sundays, thus they make music imbued with frolicking nightlife energy but flecked with sing-along radio-friendly 1980s electro-pop.
Now Sneaky have finished their second album, working with Spike Stent of Madonna and Gwen Stefani fame. Like the Scissor Sisters, they’re a pop band whose heart lies in the swirling giddy party attitude of club culture. And like all the best pop bands, they’re a team of distinct personalities and roles. Black Angus, named after a corrupt copper from Oz TV series ‘Blue Murder’, is the musical dynamo, MC Double D is the flamboyant showman with a mic – “Better to be looked over than overlooked,” he says - and Connie, the quirky front woman whose hobbies include fast cars and robot-building, is quite the opposite of a diva. In a time of predictable R&B dross and Luddite indie bands, it’s refreshing to be presented with an ebullient outfit overflowing with such hooky choruses and colourful character.

The German based DJ started his career in the late 90..s in one of the most influence club in the Germany House Scene called the Myer..s club. Italian DJ and producer. Cristiano Spiller - better known simply as Spiller - sat down to compose his very first tune in 1995, using a home PC and sampler. Two years later, the 6'9" Venetian released a single, Laguna's "Spiller From Rio". The Latin-flavored house track made it into the top ten on the Billboard dance charts.

He became well known thanks to his single
"Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)".

At present, Spiller is spinning in clubs as well as running his own label Nano, which he established in 2003.

Certainly not in the clubs, where the Stafford Brothers are sure sell-out headliners in every state around the country. And you can’t have been to any festivals in Australia because if you had, you would have seen the brothers in action at any one of them. Tony Humphries

Tony Humphries has entertained dance music fans across the globe with his “Hump in the Homefries” brand of uptempo soul music. This Brooklyn, New York native landed his first “professional” DJ gig at Manhattan’s posh Club El Morocco in 1975. From there Tony’s trek to Boystown a.k.a. Club Tribeca NY, NY would prove successful, where he was then recognized as a talented DJ.

Developing his creative experiences behind the recording studio’s control board only enhanced his style and magic.
Artists like Mtume (Tonys’ first gold record “Juicy Fruit”), Chaka Khan, Karen White, Regina Belle, Donna Summer, Jungle Brothers, Queen Latifah, and The Cover Girls were all governed by the “Humphries handicraft”.

By the mid to late 80’s, Tony became the sole helmsman weaving the tunes three nights a week, thus making dance music superstars out of local talent embedded in the heartland of Newark and her surrounding areas. Summoned across the Atlantic by the British in 1987. The “Jersey Sound” was coined by their press. In addition to traveling, remix projects mounting, pumping out a weekly radio mix show, and holding down the fort at the club, Tony was in his prime making the world of dance music exciting, hip, and refreshing.

It can be said that Tony Humphries has left an unerasable impression on the global dance music industry. To date over 300 venues he has gigged worldwide, done over 200 studio remixes, the latest being Janet Jackson’s hit “Together Again”. Throughout tremendous recognition, tons of awards and accolades from his peers, he has remained humble.

TV Rock

For the past 4 years TV ROCK have set the benchmark in Australia for dance music, selling over 250,000 singles and picking up 2 ARIA awards in the process. Their debut single ‘Flaunt It’ spent the longest time in Australian chart history inside the top 10 beating Silverchair for the honour. Their singles have also appeared on over 2,000,000 compilations sold around the world.
TV ROCK is made up by dance heavyweights Grant Smillie and Ivan Gough. In recent months in addition to destroying dancefloors in Australia and Asia the TV ROCKERS have played to millions closing the Australian MTV Music Awards and travelling the world playing gigs.
The TV ROCK team have been hectic in the studio working on new tunes- their most recent offereing ‘Been A Long Time’ feat Rudy picked up by Axwell’s label ‘Axtone’ with the label Don lending his hand to a remix in addition to the Laidback Luke mix that was smashed by David Guetta, Pete Tong, Erick Morillo and Roger Sanchez to name but a few.
The next TV ROCK single ‘Happiness’ is due out October 2008 with hot remixes from Nari & Milani and Eddie Thoneik. The boys remixing duties in previous months include Depeche Mode, Laidback Luke, The DONS & Tom Stephan to name but a few with a host of new mixes dropping in late 2008. Good friends with Dirty South, the guys are back in the studio together in November and also are currently collaborating with Rudy again for a follow up to ‘Been A Long Time’.

TV ROCK have held 8 1 positions for their remixes on the Australian dance charts, had an essential new tune and multiple plays on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection and radio plays throughout Europe and the US. After rocking the great Southern land, TV ROCK recently headed to Europe again to continue to spread the word. There they collaborated with Dave Spoon and Laidback Luke- A new tune to look out for early 09 with Luke is on the way. The TV ROCKERS record label recently had the 1 beatport position for Finally and there is more coming from the label perspective.- It’s no wonder TV ROCK were listed as ones to watch in 2008 by iDJ Mag and Mixmag this year.

Wez Clarke

It was the electro house sound of the early nineties that first lured Wez Clarke into the ever evolving world of dance music. After many a late night spent listening to local pirate radio stations that were his only source of this new music at the time, he was inspired to buy a set of cheap turntables and a mixer, and by the tender age of 12 had taught himself to mix. Wez soon ventured into the world of music production and has always viewed the two arts of DJing and Producing as one. Through hard work and talent, together with many, many hours spent behind the decks practising, Wez gained guest DJ spots at local venues and rapidly gained a reputation for his ability to get a crowd rocking.
Since 2005 Wez has been a worldwide resident DJ for Hed Kandi which has given him the amazing opportunity to play at most major clubs in the UK and in over 28 countries worldwide.

Zoë Badwi is one of Australia's best kept secrets. Working in both the pop and club domain, she is a prolific writer and singer. With 2 top 10 Australian hits already under her belt (with pop act Sirens) lead singer of Black Dogs and an established acting and modeling career, It’s safe to say that Zoë is a busy girl! 'Release Me' is Zoë's first solo record in which she teamed up with double ARIA award winning outfit TV ROCK to co-produce the track. So happy with the result, the TV Rockers signed the record to their Bimbo Rock label and are currently working with Zoë on new material for her forthcoming releases. 'Release Me' is an out and out anthem, and with strong vocals and massive hooks, it raced straight to 1 on the Aria Club Charts and has stayed on the top spot for nearly 2 months! With the single being added to radio all over Australia, and included on some of the biggest compilation releases this year, it seems there really is no stopping Zoë Badwi!
