Carlos Fauvrelle is one of the biggest producers in the Portuguese electronic music industry. His current approach to house music has gathered positive support and critics at a worldwide level. He remixed for names like Tom Stephan, Chus & Ceballos, Dean Coleman, Hernan Cattaneo, Peter Bailey & Richie Santana, just to name a few. His big collaborations in the studio with names like DJ Vibe, Peter Bailey and Kobbe has relied on the support given by artists like Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez, Victor Calderone, Dubfire and Chus & Ceballos. Dubfire got so hooked on his sounds that he couldn’t stop himself than including “Operator” in his “Global Underground – TORONTO” compilation.
Recently he co-produced with Portuguese mate Jiggy for the singer “Lula” the track called “Twilo”. The single hit the Beatport Top 20 big time and was the most sold progressive track for 3 weeks.
Outside the studio, Fauvrelle heads regular acts in the major Portuguese clubs, and started an uprising international booking agenda with playing in venues as for i.e. Comfort Zone in Toronto, Womb in Tokyo, Club AM in Caracas, Rise in Boston, Space in Miami, Parking in Montreal, Mansion in Miami, Pacha in NYC and Circus in Montreal (both on a 4 monthly residency), Rex and Red Light in Paris, L’Enfer in Dijon, Danzoo in Madrid and Exit Club in Lithuania – just to mention a few. The famous Pacha (NYC) got so impressed by his warm up´s to names like Victor Calderone and Peter Bailey & Richie Santana that they offered him his own night!
2010 could not have started any better than with a mini tour in Central/North America, including clubs like Mansion, Vanity, and open air parties in Dominican Republic and Mexico!
