Unquestionably one of Australia’s leading DJs, John Course’s reputation for releasing quality mix CDs that are purchased by the bucket load well and truly precedes him. His back catalogue includes mixes for Onelove and his own Vicious label, as well as countless for Ministry of Sound. This month he adds another to the canon, with the fourth installment of the ‘Sessions’ series unleashed. With over two decades in the game, John has played at every dance festival in Australia worth mentioning, and every club worth lining up and dealing with a rude door bitch for. We could list the international DJs he’s played alongside, but we’d be here until sometime in July… suffice to say, they don’t come much bigger than Mr Course! Hitting the road throughout May, June and July on the Ministry of Sound ‘Sessions Four’ launch tour with Dirty South, ITM’s Angus Paterson tracked down the hardest working man in Australia’s dance biz for a bit of one-on-one time.
