Not to be confused with one of the greatest tennis players of all time, Liam Sampras is to House Music what Pete Sampras is to Tennis – A Sydney based DJ with years of experience, ask Liam what matters most and he’ll answer “Its all about House Music”.
With a mixture of soulful and main room House, Liam has forged a unique style that has gained him the respect of all those who hear him play and the admiration of the local clubbing elite.
Liam’s dedication has led him to a residency with Australia’s most successful House brand – SHE (Soulful House Experience). He has used this opportunity to further nurture his style of house music to an educated crowd and his adaptability behind the decks has resulted in him playing warm-up, peak-time and closing sets to an increasingly loyal following.
In addition to his involvement with SHE, Liam’s other high-profile residencies are at the very glamorous IVY and the Argyle, both based in downtown Sydney.
Also, Liam was hand picked to perform at one of the globes most publicized venues – Hugh Hefner’s PLAYBOY MANSION (LA). Notorious for throwing lavish parties, Hugh Hefner and his team chose Liam to perform at Playboy’s 3rd Annual White Party and this was a credit to his well-crafted skill and taste in music.
With numerous international guest spots already locked in, PARADISE CLUB (Mykonos), PACHA (Ibiza), PLAYBOY MANSION (LA) and TAO (Las Vegas), there will be no slowing down in 2011. His involvement with Ministry of Sound Radio will continue, as well as studio work scheduled in for late 2011.
